Industrialization will be replaced with digitalization.
It’s a fact.
Almost everyone in the construction sector knows the construction industry productivity diagram. Compared to other industry sectors, the construction branch had no significant increase in productivity since the nineties. None in 25 years! Therefore, the margins are low, the customers’ expectations high and the competition destructive. Honestly, the construction industry sector is not the fertile soil for the money tree. Only the most exceptional companies will survive. Is your company prepared to stand on its ground?

Is your company prepared to stand on its ground?
The purpose of this blog is to help you finding the answer. If you are working on a construction site, you know that it requires guts. Building Information Modeling is a great new paradigm, but let me tell you this: it’s also a very tricky one.
Let us not affiliate with the chit-chatters, who claim BIM is heaven for all of us. It’s not. But it can be if you do your homework dear architect, civil engineer, manager!
The following posts will on a frequent basis introduce you into BIM. The approach is to unify the engineer’s and architect’s, respectively manager’s point of view in this matter. Because we believe (I hope I am not alone) that it’s not enough to just buy the software you need and to hire some skinny IT – freak to make the work done. It’s more than that. If you don’t want to your construction company to fail soon, you must reshape your business. There are already some enterprises which changed completely and are aiming in the BIM – mastery direction. They are the winners. They reach the BIM – heaven. Don’t allow you to fall into BIM – hell.
Many companies and countries focus at the moment on the BIM – implementation. It’s an ongoing process in the US and in some European and Asian countries. Even in Africa there are attempts to implement this new paradigm. Currently it’s the perfect moment to start think about it.
With this blog, I want to invite you to participate on our journey towards excellence and a mindful shift from the classical construction approach to BIM. Sooner or later the construction industry will adopt BIM if you want it or not.
With this blog,
I want to invite you to participate on our journey
towards excellence !
If your company won’t be ready, it will be too late. Sorry, for being blunt, but I won’t give you any soft or easy advices. And I won’t tell you what you want to hear, because when the rocket starts sky-high, your company will be on board or outside in the dust.
Join us in the journey! Allow your mind to be provoked, to find your way to unconventional wisdom and finally towards success in a new digitalized world. Now just imagine how the productivity line in the diagram is increasing in your case!
I wish you all the best and luck!
